Welcome back, Wildcats and Wildcat families!

I hope you all had a wonderful and restful summer break. As we embark on a new school year, I am filled with excitement and anticipation for the amazing experiences and opportunities that lie ahead.

To our returning students, welcome back! We are thrilled to see your familiar faces and can't wait to hear about your summer adventures. To our new students and families, we extend a warm welcome to our school community. We are delighted to have you join us and look forward to getting to know you.

This year promises to be an exciting one, filled with new learning experiences, friendships, and personal growth. Our dedicated teachers and staff have been working hard to prepare for your return, and we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for all our students.

This year marks my 25th year in education, my 20th year in Broward County Public Schools, and my 3rd year here at The Glen. I am very excited to begin this new year with you, as we learn and grow together.

As we begin this journey together, I encourage each of you to embrace the opportunities that come your way, to challenge yourselves, and to support one another. Let's make this school year one of our best yet!

Welcome Wildcat Families!

I’m excited to welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year and honored to serve as your sixth-grade Assistant Principal. With 25 years in education and four wonderful years at Forest Glen, I bring a deep understanding of the middle school experience and a strong commitment to supporting our students and families.

Sixth grade is a time of tremendous growth and transition for our newest Wildcats—and for many families, it marks the beginning of the secondary school journey. Whether this is your first experience with middle school or you're returning, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Our sixth-grade team is dedicated to helping your child thrive academically, emotionally, and socially in a safe, engaging, and high-quality learning environment. We encourage students to get involved in clubs, sports, and activities that spark their interests and help them build friendships. Families can also stay connected by joining our PTO and exploring volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

Safety remains a top priority. Please help us reinforce our school-wide expectations: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe. These values are central to creating an inclusive and secure learning environment for all students. Take a moment to review the Student Code of Conduct with your child and remind them—if you see something, say something.

This year, we’re continuing our cell phone policy to support student well-being and focus. All electronic devices must be turned off or placed in airplane mode and stored away during the school day, including during transitions and lunch. Earbuds and headphones should only be used when directed by staff for educational purposes. Game controllers should remain at home to avoid distractions. We appreciate your partnership in helping us maintain a focused and healthy learning space.

Welcome Back, Forest Glen Wildcats!

Dear Students, Families, and Staff,

Welcome to another exciting school year at Forest Glen Middle School! My name is Tiffany Barnett, and I am proud to serve as your 7th Grade Assistant Principal. With 25 years in education—and 14 of those years right here at Forest Glen—I am both honored and excited to continue supporting our incredible students and families as we begin a new chapter together.

At Forest Glen, we are committed to "Cultivating Cambridge Scholars with Global Mindsets and Local Impacts." This year, we will continue to grow together through engaging academics, meaningful relationships, and strong community values. Our mission is to foster a secure and inclusive environment where students and adults alike are encouraged to take risks, embrace challenges, and model respect, responsibility, and safety in all that we do.

Our school-wide theme this year is “We Are Forest Glen”—a celebration of our unity, diversity, and shared purpose. Underlying everything we do is a simple yet powerful reminder: Be Kind. Whether in the classroom, in the hallway, or out in the community, kindness will always be our compass.

As we embark on this journey together, I encourage all of us to keep asking the essential question:
“How can we help all Wildcats find their greatness?”

I am excited to welcome all of our students, staff, and families to another amazing school year at Forest Glen Middle School! As your 8th Grade Assistant Principal, I am especially looking forward to working with our students as they grow academically, socially, and emotionally, and as they prepare for the exciting transition to high school.

This year, our focus will continue to be on creating a safe, supportive, and challenging learning environment where every student can succeed. We encourage our Wildcats to be engaged learners, respectful classmates, and active members of our school community.
