Welcome Back, Wildcats!

As we begin another exciting school year at Forest Glen Middle School, I am proud to welcome our students, families, faculty, and staff back to a place where excellence, opportunity, and Wildcat Pride thrive.

This year, we celebrate extraordinary accomplishments that reflect the dedication of our students, staff, and community. Forest Glen Middle School is proud to be an A-Rated School, recognized as South Florida’s Favorite Middle School, and designated as a Guy Harvey Conservation School for 2026-2027. These achievements represent more than awards and recognitions. They reflect a school community committed to high expectations, meaningful relationships, and a shared belief that every Wildcat can succeed.

As we continue our journey, our vision remains clear: FGMS: Cultivating Cambridge Scholars with Global Mindsets and Local Impacts. We are dedicated to preparing students not only for academic success, but also for leadership, service, and lifelong learning. Every classroom experience, co-curricular opportunity, and community partnership is designed to help our Wildcats grow as thinkers, problem solvers, and future leaders.

At FGMS, learning extends far beyond the classroom. Students can look forward to engaging academic experiences, exciting field trips, rewarding incentives, school traditions, competitions, leadership opportunities, and a variety of co-curricular activities that make middle school both meaningful and memorable. Whether exploring new places, celebrating achievements, participating in clubs, or showcasing their talents, our Wildcats will have countless opportunities to learn, connect, and grow.

Success begins with strong expectations. This year, we will continue to emphasize the importance of:

I am excited to welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year and honored to continue serving as your Sixth-Grade Assistant Principal at Forest Glen Middle School.

As we begin a new year, we have so much to celebrate. Thanks to the hard work of our students, staff, and families, Forest Glen has earned an A school rating. This achievement reflects our shared commitment to academic excellence, student growth, and a positive school culture. Together, we are building on that success with this year's theme: Wildcats on the Rise!

"Wildcats on the Rise" represents our dedication to continuous growth, resilience, and achievement. We encourage every student to challenge themselves, explore new opportunities, and strive to reach their highest potential both inside and outside the classroom.

Sixth grade is an exciting time of growth and our sixth-grade team is committed to helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally in a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

Dear Forest Glen Middle School Families,

Welcome to a new school year at Forest Glen Middle School! I am excited to welcome back our returning Wildcats and greet the new students and families joining our school community. As the 7th Grade Assistant Principal, I am honored to begin my 26th year in education, including 14 years as an assistant principal. Each school year brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships, and I look forward to partnering with our students, families, and staff to make this an exceptional year.

Forest Glen Middle School is proud to be an A-rated school where academic excellence and a strong sense of community go hand in hand. Guided by our vision of Cultivating Cambridge Scholars with Global Mindsets and Local Impacts, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive environment where every student is challenged to reach their full potential while demonstrating respect, responsibility, and safety. This year, our guiding words are Grace and Presence. We encourage every member of our Wildcat family to extend grace through kindness and understanding, while being fully present in the classroom, in our relationships, and in every opportunity to learn and grow. Our instructional focus remains on increasing learning gains in ELA, ESOL, and Mathematics. Through strong instruction, collaboration, and high expectations, we are committed to helping every student achieve success. It is my pleasure to welcome our students and families to another exciting school year. As your eighth-grade assistant principal, I am honored to be part of a school community that is dedicated to helping every student learn, grow, and succeed.

We are proud to have earned an "A" school grade for the 2025–2026 school year. This achievement reflects the commitment of our outstanding students, talented teachers and staff, supportive families, and our entire Forest Glen community. Together, we have created a culture of excellence, and I look forward to building on that success this year.

As we begin a new school year, I encourage our students to embrace new opportunities, challenge themselves, and to do your best every day. Our staff is committed to providing a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
